    Hey Dave,

I just installed a new set of TOGs on my car. I tried for 3 hours to modify the stock dipstick to work, no luck at all. Its not close now, nor will it ever be. I pretty much trashed the stock one and I don't want a "rigged" stock one in place.

I was wondering and hoping you had a solution for me. At this point I don't care what it costs, I just want a nice clean install that works. I'd appreciate any input, thanks...

Hi Shawn, not sure I have the best answer for you but I believe Summit Racing or Jegs sells aftermarket flexible dipsticks such as Lokar brands and possibly others. They are fairly expensive but should work. All of the cars I have had to work on with TOGs already had modified stock dipsticks and I have not personally ran into trouble with these so not sure how much help I can be aside an aftermarket one or buying a pre-bent tube for the headers.

I was in the same boat as you, I trashed a stock one too to try to get it to fit around the TOG headers. I gave up, scrapped it, and ordered a prebent one from ZZP and still had to bend it some more to clear but that one helped get me started better than starting from scratch with another stocker.

Once it cleared and everything fit good, I had the damn thing powder coated red for looks, and to cover up my scratches from my additional bending.

I only had to tweak the dipstick when I put TOG's on... I will see about getting some pics up soon. Were the TOGs changed at some point that made the dipstick an issue?

The newer ones are a little different than the old ones and there was a run of mismatched crossover pipes to make matters worse but I dont know how many of them were like that and what timeframe it occured.
