i guess thats good for if its already pulled. Here in florida we have U pull its, and every tranny is $70 and right now they have some HDs out there. But only 12k thats a deal anyways.
yea what part of florida hell,im in mississippi myself and it would be worth my drive!!over here they goin for around $600 to $850 bucks a pop pulled!!!but this one i was getting is not pulled which is the way i like it because i wanna be able to see what i am gettin,in other words, the guy knows me and i am gonna drop the pan on it while pulling it,replace all the solenoids and check out for debris if any.you never know bout a pulled one even with 30 day warranties.but yes i think its a good deal and need another one if i could get it for 70 bucks lol!!thanks
Thats a amazing deal!
Bro my tranny is almost shot, had issues had the pan dropped, fluid n filter done, it was ok and now i think its the TC that has gone to hell, back for a slurpee and back again because rolling it skips, park sometimes it makes a belnder+ Marbles noise, but when driving it shifts ok and doenst really feel rough, how much would you charge me if u pulled and shipped one for me including the 70 for the trans itself? lol
Shipping a transmission is expensive...they ain't light. I'd bet at least $150+.
i dont really have any other options, searching the junkers around here and so far not looking good, just need a replacement that will get me to and from until i can get a newer car, 500 total for a trans and labor is better than close 2k for a rebuild here
youre gonna want to rebuild a junkyard one, thats gonna be $400 in parts alone, including converter though. Least those are the prices i got when i rebuilt mine.
dont have time or $$$ to rebuild, if thats the case totalling it up the trans, shipping, removal of old, rebuilding of new, parts, re-install im better off getting mine rebuilt here,
do it yourself for $400 and be done with it
dang that sucks. i have no idea how i would ship a transmission. i could try and get quotes though if you really wanted. there are no yards near you? i could throw some new parts in it too if you wanted, just pay for the parts.
well my offer stands, with parts/shipping a basic refresh still come out HALF>
it would be beneficial to throw in some new clutches and seals, if you dont wanna pull it back out in a couple thousand miles. Id have to check on shipping, i have no idea.
true, if you could that woudl be great i would rather spend 350 on a trans, shipping and throw you a few bucks for helping then 1075 for a junked trans and thats not even installed.
thats crazy they want that much, especially for a used tranny.
nice find. now just do a rebuild to make sure everythings good, and upgrade some stuff so youll have a good reliable tranny if you want to take your car into the 12's or so
