well today i put my car in drive & it takes off a little but then starts slipping & the rpm's went up!! this sucks i have to drive 50 miles to school mon-fri. im not sure what to do try fixing it or buy a new one? any imput would be appreciated!

have you tried replacing the tranny fluid and filter ? also check the level with the engine running ,and pour some lucas additive ...
