    would an 4T65E-HD from a 07 impala v8 fit into my 97 pontiac grand prix gtp?

    I don't think your PCM will work with its electronics.

    It wont work period. The case on the V8 transmissions is different which puts a hault on any thought of the retro process to make it work on your car.
