hello there i recently purchased this 98 daytona 500 pace car from my dad.he says about 2 months ago he got a SES light and a DTC po102.mass air flow sensor low input. he drove the car with the light on and just recently the tranny started acting up.first a loud whining noise came from it and it stopped shifting.he made it home after a few starts and stops about 5 miles or so down the road.he had to go a few miles and stop and wait then go a few more miles til he made it home.afterwards.he changed the tranny fluid and filter and said it looked ok still red but was sludggy grey lookin.he then drove it about 200 or so more miles not having but one problem when going into 4th gear [OD] it would make a jerky or shimmy at around 45mph.after the 200 or so miles it went down again with a whine and no shift.i bought it,towed it home and checked the DTC's i found theseo102,po141,po742 and po756 i know what they mean i gotta book i would like some help on what to fix i havent dropped the pan again yet but plan to. i tried some Lubegard #60902 and it did nothing.i can start the car the pump whines for about 2 mins. or so and stops then it will not take off in any gear!but when i unplug the MAF sensor the pump whines and the car will move some.i have heard the MAF circuit is tied into the tranny and could cause it to fail.i have planned to replace the TCC solenoid and the MAF sensor and change the tranny fluid and filter but will this help? thanks.
