This is more of an FYI thread, so mods, I'm sorry if I posted in the wrong section.

When I first bought my GTP, it had severe driveability issues (see point 1 in following: http://www.grandprixforums.net/f21/m...lems-9250.html)
and thought it was my transmission slipping, or a Torque Convertor issue. A mechanic even told me it was a problem with the computer.

Turns out it was a short in my Transmission Control System wire. The funny thing is, the TCS Off/Low TCS lights weren't lighting up (burned out bulb? - I figure the guy who owned the car before me had the same issue for a while), but after reading how a short in the TCS could affect driveability, I traced the TCS wire with the help of a friend, and sure enough, it was shorting on the chassis.

This is just to help anyone who may have the same problem I did and may end up spending loads of cash having it checked out.

Sorry again if this is in the wrong section.

Cheers.
