    do you think it's stupid to build a tranny for a stock 97 gtp, with a full exhaust and aftermarket torque converter, i plan on beefin up the engine later on this summer thanks

    Not really, if you're planning on going bigger and better later on down the road. Just be sure to do the right stall and gearing for whatever you plan to do...

    ? gearing could i run with a holeshot3000 & stock engine ,cold ram air,headers&exhaust

    the higher the stall, the less efficient it will be. also, the more power the engine makes, the high the converter will stall. if you want info on a shift kit of sorts, check out my thread. http://www.grandprixforums.net/f21/s...lace-8674.html good info and pictures.
    2002 GTP: K&N, 3.2 pulley, flipped mounts. ZZP SS headers, 180 stat, NGK TR6's, MSD wires, Reptile ported TB, ported S/C, ported LIM, Intense Stage II heads with larger Manley severe duty SS valves, Yella Terra 1.9 full roller rockers, LS6 springs, Racetronix fuel pump re-wire, Oil pressure "kit", JMB FWI. Mustang dynoed at 240 WHP, 272 WTQ.
