I have an 07 na and it has 200 000kms. The guy before me never changed the fluid so i did it and once it gets hot, it will kick in from a dead stop. I was thinking of adding a tranny line... actually i just ordered it lol. But my question is can i buy a new tranny line for both supply/ return thats like a stub. Maybe a few inchs long instead of buying a whole new line just to cut it. The old one is rough shape.
And really hoping the cooler will eliminate the hard take off.
    Thanx

Not that a cooler will not help eventually, that sounds like a forward band going bad.

lots of things can cause bang-screech. low fluid, clogged filter, PCS, worn input clutch piston....a shift kit is a band aid.

Do those other things but a trans go kit helps firm up the shifts.

My 08 did a couple slip bangs at 160000 and I figured soon would need a rebuild. I changed the fluid and filter added lubeguard red a shift kit and drove it like a grandma. I would also change the tranny fluid and filter and a bottle of lubeguard red every 30k and it is still rolling at 226000.

Still figure it could go any time but the slip bang’s disappeared.
