Searched a few times but didn't come across anything that matched my situation.

Since I've owned my 04 GTP it has always run great in normal drive mode, but in Tapshift I've always had a couple issues:

1: When accelerating in 3rd and 4th (Torque Converter Unlocked) once it gets close to 3K RPM it won't go any higher and will actually die down a little bit (scan shows zero KR when this happens). If I accelerate in the exact same way in automatic, it pulls through smooth and fine every single time. 1st and 2nd gear in Tapshift go all the way to 4K and beyond just fine.

2: 1st gear in Tapshift has a pretty noticeable amount of bogging/jolting at low RPM (like when slowly coasting to a stop light for instance). Again, have never experienced this at all in automatic mode.

My TB is cleaned regularly, as well as my MAF (have also changed it out as well), happens on both stock and Intense PCM, have changed tranny fluid/filter twice (running Dex VI right now), using TransGo shift kit.

Is this normal? My transmission shows no signs of wear other than maybe a harsh/lazy 1-2 shift at high RPM.

This won't help your issue but...I wouldn't bother even using tapshift, it's an automatic trans it already knows when to shift on it's own. Tapshift will just wear clutches out sooner...ever wonder why almost every comp g out there has had to have trans rebuilt. The tapshift is goofy in my opinion...and the biggest reason I stay away from considering buying a comp g over a normal gtp.
