ok guys so found a tim king tranny, all the goodies. Trans was built in 2012, never installed. Guy has a good price on it and all that. I am making close to 300 to the wheels with my set up. Guy selling the tranny said it will handel 450whp. Has the 7/8 chaing, 3.29 gears, 300 input shaft, ect ect. I talked to one person with a overall no said these things are junk. He said go with TEP and Dave, and I have heard nothing but great things! I do trust his judgement, and know Dave builds great trannys. I guess my question, for the price it is very hard to pass up, and from what I read I have to hope its actually built correctly with parts that says he has in it. I just dont want to buy a giant paper weight with the hopes im getting a steal on the price lol! So does anyone have any experince with a TK tranny? if so would love to hear about it!
