been doing more work....

both meziere flexplates are now machined for the 4 bolt 4t80e converter bolt pattern (9.815 inch bolt circle dia)

even went as far as machining in the OEM style slot for the "first bolt" (which is more of an assembly line convenience than of anything else)

next up is to get the one rebalanced to 21 oz/in and the other to 22.

also did what is another "last" mockup and test/measure fest..... got it really close, but off enough that im fixing it. in the back left youll see the new engine mount that is the one we have to really carefully "dial in", the 4t80 i mapped out on the surface plate, so all my trans plates are square to the OEM case surfaces....kinda hard to put the trans and the engine on the giant pink slab of granite.

i am nearly done with all the little adjustments and updates ive found for the trans brackets

to give an idea of the dimensions....front to rear bottom mounting hole (plumbs) distance is 25". drivers side to passenger side plates is 18 7/8ths.
keep in mind im building the engine mount in line with the pass rear trans bracket...a large portion is that we need the room for the ac/compressor or the alternator down at the oem compressor mounting area. final engine mount will be out of 1" plate at the block and 1/2" plate for the arm. i will be machining it to 3/8ths at the chassis end after welding to make sure its square with the crank centerline like the other brackets.

helluva lotta trial and error in a "bolt in 80e" setup lol
