Don’t get me wrong, the car drives great. I’ve put about 1,500 miles on it since that issue with the nipple blowing off. I posted about it so whenever that happened. It’s been spoolin real good. I’ve been driving it daily, 100%. But that voltage issue needs to gets fixed. Also the KR issue. Watching the KR and having to let go off the gas sometimes is getting old. Need more flow ASAP.

I did the trans mount. Still haven’t done the engine mount. Prolly going to spend the dough ($80) on a genuine ACDelco mount cuz the aftermarket ones suck bad.

Working on the GPO’s some more. Trimmed the metal grill and drilled holes. Also drilled pilot holes into the GPOs themselves. Paint is next.

Been working on the GPO's. Finished product. They look OKAYY

Paint is less than decent :\ Blame it on my hill-billy paint box with side heater. Haha! The metal grills got baked for 20min and 320*.

Grills are firmly screwed in. Should hold real nice.

Car has been running great. Took me all the way up to Copper Harbor, MI and back. Did some snowmobiling up there and hit 93mph on a few straightaways. As far as the car, it was a passing machine on those 2 lane country highways. Roaring past everyone with ease. I haven't put the grills in yet because they don't fit correctly with the lip that's on the bumper part. I will need to saw that out. I did the rear bumper decal because you know.... you have to. Looks OKAY. Wish it was a darker blue but I can live with it.

Got the old girl up the air today. Got a code for the front oxygen sensor so a got new Delco replacement. Rock auto also got me to spend the extra coin on a nice wrench. Put in new sway bar links and washed the air filter. Diode Dynamics had a 20% off sale so I bought some rear corner marker LED's and some powerful reverse LED's.

What code did you have? A lot of the time an upstream code is triggered by issues other than a failing O2. Those reverse LEDs are great! I've only thought about them for looks, never really considered the better visibility, duh.

Man I thought the led lights I had were bright, those are a even bigger difference.

Turbos sometime like to cook the primary sensor early from all the excessive heat that can be made playing

Fixed the sway bar links! Can't believe none of you assholes told me they were installed wrong and retarded! Lol
Ordered new MOOG link/bushings from RockAuto with the improved design. The new design is so much better. No pics of this though.

Both front wheels were humming and super sqeaky. Replaced both front bearings with new AC Delco's. The car rides so smooth now!
When putting everything back together the caliper guide pins just would not cooperate. They were not sitting well in the bracket for some reason.
Was getting super Pissed and confused. Pulled the brackets off the red car. Those worked great. Guide pins went in and behaved like they should. Car comes to a stop so much better now. ****ty part is the brakes are 2 different colors now. Got a Captain America look going on.

Photo 2 why the lighter and photo 4 why the exacto knife? Curious in case they may help me one day not get pissed and kick the crap out of my car!

Are you brakes F-body or GXP?

The only Asshole in the story is Cory for installing the end links wrong [emoji1787].

Good job keeping up on the car.

Those back up lights are beast mode for sure

Haha. No chasing the dragon in this den... oops I meant garage. The brakes are from '06+ Impala. Not sure what the F'ck was going on with them. I do know I had to use a C-clamp to try and smash/shove the guide pins into the brackets. Before stopping and thinking that This ain't Right.

Not sure what you or I did. But those links were installed poorly to say the least! haha. The ride is sooo much smother now.

This car will be staying on the road for a while hopefully. BUT, for know, it will be curbed for a 1 or 2 weeks. I do have a massive oil leak from behind the Balancer, so that means front cover gasket. The leak is bad. Dripping onto the exhaust when driving. Catching on the belt and flinging everywhere. I removed the Balancer bolt yesterday by bumping the starter, and right away oil just came seeping out the bolt hole. Oil everywhere. Pooled up good in the engine mount bracket.

So here is what will happen:
Engine = Getting pulled in order to replace: Front gasket, Rear gasket, Oil pan gasket, New water pump, Spark plugs. Rear spark plugs are near impossible on this car with the Turbo piping.
Turbo = Coming out. Going back to a Gen3 with a 3.8 pulley to save on gas. And that should be all good. HA! Kidding. Coming out and getting rebuilt. Sending it out to Bison Performance in Connecticut.

Timing cover crank seal probably. Timing cover gasket shouldnt be a problem. If you do replace that make sures its zzp gasket for the double roller.

Removing turbo thats funny, I almost hit send on a bomb to your house. Good thing I kept reading!

pull the balancer and check the seal. they are like 12 bucks and a lot easier to swap out then taking the cover off. oil will pour out once hot when the seal is bad.

no oil should be coming out the balancer bolt hole, its sealed.
