Good to see you were able to post the photos man. That looked/sounded like a pretty fun ride. And yeah I would be suing the insurance company.

Well it's totaled so kiss the car goodbye. Now your insurance company should be the one telling you what's going on. I assume they'll go after her for the damage. Meanwhile they should be cutting you a check for the value of the car once that's determined. If I'm not mistaken.

Sue her. Sue her so ****ing hard. She could have very easily killed you both. You may never see a dime, but make sure she never owns a car again. Better call Saul. Sue her so hard she'll never be able to hold a job because your lawyer will be getting most of it garnished. Sue her so ****ing hard that she can never get married because they'll take her husbands money. Etc.

Yes, you should have a policy that covers you in case you are in an accident with an uninsured motorist.

I would still sit down with a lawyer and see if she has a job, if she does, wage garnishment.

Go see a chiropractor and get checked out for stuff like whiplash. That will help with the legal process.

dont worry, your ins should cover you, then they will sue her ass for every thing they had to put out to cover your car.

for your personal care your ins should cover you too, but you can also sue her ass off for pain and suffering and med bills that dont get covered by ins.

That's what you pay that monthly or yearly fee to.. Your insurance company will cover you.. Now it's up to them to go after her for the damage. Normally they would go after her insurance company but obviously that's not the case.

when i got hit by some asshole in my 03 gmc, this asshole had no ins, FL lic, and Il plates. f ing cop let the guy drive away. im like he just told you he has no ins and your letting he drive away? (i got hit in brooklyn ny) cops like whatever.

my ins paid 5 grand to fix my brand new truck with 12,000 miles on it. (it was months old. i did 3,000 miles a month)

then they sent me letters about how they were suing the guy who hit me for the 5 grand. no idea idea if they ever collected or not.

Yup, living in Texas half the time we are hit by uninsured illegals. And yes, the cops let them drive away. Your insurance should cover you. You do not have to take their first offer of value. In fact, I have never the seen the first offer be reasonable. You have to negotiate to get a fair amount.
