Even with meth you cannot handle that. Hell anything past 25 is not helping.

well i'll have to pay closer attention to it, when i had dash cammander with the wifi dongle before someone stole it i was running around 25. but my brand new interceptor gague must be broken or something because im just going off what it says. i'll make a pull or something and try to get a video
Hmmm well like I said, that's what I saw, but in the morning when I go to work ill pay a lot closer attention to my timing advance, I only really drove a few miles with the meth injection, parts store, hardware store, and the grocery store all less than 5 or 6 miles total I think, I'm pretty sure what I saw but now you got me second guessing myself, anyways back on topic... So LIM seems to be the best place to spray... So, without spraying into every runner, which is obviously the best choice but seems overly complex and unnecessary since I'm not going for an 9 second car or anything, where and how many jets do I need, and at that point would the jet I installed today pre blower be necessary... I mean it would still cool the blower casing and rotors and theoretically help the rotors seal better. The only other person I know who runs water meth has a twin turbo duramax with like 12 jets so that isn't exactly apples to apples
Alright sweet! What size jets are you using? I hate that most companies say this jet for 300 horse or whatever because I def don't believe that it is that simple. And when I do the LIM intake jets would you reccomend tossing the one I put in my intake piping? Or is that just something that I'm going to have to play around with?
there's two obvious indents between the runners for cylinders 3/5 and 2/4.
i would put them there, and do something like an M3 nozzle on each so you can fog the LIM fairly well under boost.
there's what i was going to do if i ever ran meth again.
Yeah it's fairly obvious now looking at it where it should go, I've just never had the intake off of a 3800 before. Plenty of small blocks though. I havent had a chance to check out my timing, it snowed last night and roads are slick as ****, if I even attempt WOT my traction control kicks in or my tires just spin so yeah, I did notice when I goosed it a little bit and let off my timing did go to that 45* range before it settled back down Into the upper 20's so maybe that's what I was seeing because I wasn't staring at the gauge while I was WOT. But yeah I highly doubt zzp would have loaded that crazy of a timing table on my PCM, who knows though, either way I think I'm going to get an overkill PCM before I go to the dyno.
however, i ran a pre-blower injection and it worked fine. so that's always an alternative.
or maybe you do the two LIM spots AND a pre-blower nozzle to make sure you're getting even cylinder distribution. just a little nozzle up top, like an M1.
Well I'm using an AEM, I looked at all my meth options for a while, Aquamist seemed like a great system, so did the snow performance. But I honestly didn't think that all their progressive controllers and **** were necessary... With an m90 how fast does your boost go from 3lbs to max boost? Aquamist was very tempting because their controller fits in the Gauge pod but it looked a tad cheesy to me... Could be wrong... Oh also a good question... There is no where on our PCM to hook up the fail safe wire all these kits have right? That is supposed to kill your timing and stuff...
The Aquamist kit taps into the map and idc wires in the pcm. The controller box is hidden away somewhere like the glove box or behind the dash.
A 3800 is gonna be more forgiving if the meth fails if you have an intercooler too. So the cheaper kits are fine to use.
I just praise Aquamist because it is the perfect system.
They looked legit, trust me I read up for like 6 months before I got my kit. I was very tempted by their system. But as you said, I don't need anything as elaborate on this car, and AEM is pretty reputable. Once I install my intercooler it's basically going to be insurance. I'm going to run as much boost as I can with 0kr intercooled, then spray the meth on top of that. I always run 93 octane, but to know that my octane will be over 100 no mater what, make sure my **** is nice and steam cleaned. I couldn't see running anything more elaborate unless I had a turbo/twin charged setup. Do you know anyway to use the fail safe systems the meth injection controllers have... They mention a wire to tap into to kill timing, or maybe wire it to open the s/c bypass?
There is no point in running meth without increasing boost or timing.
It would likely be a good idea to use the bypass solenoid with the fail safe.
AEM WB can't be calibrated, thus it will wander as it ages, and become less accurate the more you use it.
NTK AFX is my recommendation.
