I'm looking into a catback for my Comp G. SLP makes one, but Borla has one for 97-03 that I'd rather have. Would this fit under my 04+ without issue? I was told it would, but I want to make sure.

it should fit fine, if anything a hanger may need to be moved/added at most.

98 Buick Regal GS, F body brakes, Caddy STS wheels, tinted tails L36 bottom end, lightly ported heads, 1.95 roller rockers, headers, gen 5 N* 3.0 pulley, FSIC, 42 lb injectors, a BrandonHall rebuilt trans, DHP tuned and AEM water/Meth injection https://goo.gl/gpV5kW

This seems to show the difference.

I bought this last year with a zzp downpipe/w cat:

Still need a proper hanger for the drivers side muffler as it is a Base trim GP and only had a passenger side exhaust. I do have the proper dual-out valence installed for my bumper though.

It sounds great through the whole power band...moderately loud throaty idle, and plenty loud at WOT. It has quite the drone while cruising though. Part of the reason I replaced my exhaust was that the resonator was full of rust holes and was quite loud. Oh well I love the sound and the tips are extremely nice. When I replace the carpet I will probably put some dynamat down to help with the drone.

yes as most have said the 97+ exhaust works. I have a Corsa on my 04+ meant for a 97-03. There is one hanger infront of the Pass wheel that is not present on the 04+. I don't have a hanger and I don't have any problems

Thanks, guys! Now I just have to save up, or do like Red said and just do a 3". I'm kinda hesitant, though, since I'm not doing much more with the car as far as power. Maybe rockers, and I've still gotta put those headers in, but that's about it - nothing to warrant a 3"
