So I got my scanguage in the mail today and I'm having trouble reading kr with it. It's not showing up as the 0 that I seen everyone else with and not reading at wot. I've added horsepower, air/fuel ratio, and long term fuel trim to it using the codes and they worked, although kr code isn't. I've double checked and tried other codes. I got the codes from the scangauge support web page..X-Gauge Commands : Linear Logic - Home of the ScanGauge there is the link. When I plug it in it automatically says my car is the vpw. So my question is, does anyone have an idea what I'm doing wrong that has experience with these, does anyone use these with an 04+ ? Or should I return it and use my torque until I can get an aeroforce? I got it for 130$ after tax brand new so an aeroforce is another $110 easy

I honestly don't understand why you would want it if you have Torque

Lol idk I thought it'd just be more accurate, I also just liked how I don't have to always hook my phone up and it can pretty much sit there. What do you use for scanning if you don't mind me asking, or recommend

Until I can get a AF, the Torque works fine for me, I have a bluetooth radio also, so no matter what my phone connects to both when I start it. Give it one more day of research then return if you can't figure it out and get the nice scanner.

Lol yeah I'm already thinking about just taking it back, but ill play with it tomorrow a little more if I can. I have the Bluetooth radio too so I hear ya on that. I just need a holder for my phone like you have and it'd be more convenient. Thanks. Update on my headers. I bought them signed in as a guest on PayPal! Gotta wait up to 30 days for my refund now! Fml haha.

I don't blame you, I have to go through many thoughts and approvals to get things I want for the car, it has kept things to a minimum and she(best half) also thinks I'm going to trade off this car like have done in the past, but I am really keeping my Golden B!tch til it dies.

    Since 2009 I have been through 6 cars. 01 Saturn L200-84 Chevy 4x4-97 GPGT-94 GMC Z71-90 Mustang LX (notch)-98 GTP

I put work into all of them, mostly on the Mustang, but now Most work and effort in the GTP. Wife still gets worried when I look at CL for fun.

I really want this to work for you cause I might go that route, how big of a difference are the numbers between the SG2 and Torque?

I would like to think that since I have the correct PIDS and latest updates for my Torque, that the info it is giving me is damn accurate.

I haven't compared to my torque yet, I was just comparing some to my dic in the car. I will check it out more tomorrow if we don't get hit hard with snow. Any specifics you'd like me to compare it to? Overall as far as mpgs n avg n stuff it just all bounces around like my dic does. I just tried adding codes as well so far, to make sure I could get what I wanted working and set up.

Compare the numbers between IAT, Coolant, Volts, Vacuum/ Boost and if you get it working the dreaded KR*

Volts were the same I'd say, as for the others I will have to check. Also I don't think it does boost I'm looking up more now.
GM Specific : Linear Logic : Home of the ScanGauge here's some you can add.. N here's others
XGauges for ISO & VPW Vehicles : Linear Logic : Home of the ScanGauge
Then I will have to see what is already on it tomorrow for ya

Thought it could read boost since the info comes from the MAP sensor via the OBD 2 port, just like the factory gauge and the Torque App.

Well, what ever you are able to compare will help in deciding to buy or wait for the AF.

Hope it takes care of your needs cause as of right now, from your review, the Torque App is the better Gauge(s), until a AF is acquired.
