Hi, I am wondering if any of you have had this in your gps.

I was driving about a month ago really low on gas and the rpm gauge was not working at all was at constant 0, but everything else was working. I filled up turned the car off and on and it went back to normal. Shortly after I realized my tractiion control button was not working at all. I gave up.

Later on in the week I noticed it would work if you hit it a few times,

Now a month later it will not work at all no matter how maany times i press it. Anyone know whats going on??

Tach dropping to 0 while still running almost sounds like a crank position sensor starting to go. If so, then soon your car may start just randomly dying on you until it just won't fire up anymore once the sensor is shot.

Barring that could be some corrosion on the battery cables. Remove them both, clean the batt. and the cable ends, put a little dielectric grease on them and reattach making sure they are tight. I've seen loose/dirty cables cause this too.
