    any way to change it? from the 3 button to six? also, any way to get the date back after a radio swap?
    04 GP GT, dual borla exhaust, 24x4.5in tips, 18'' rims, audiobahn system, tinted 5%, windshield 35%, tinted tails, AVS HL covers
    MSD super conductor plug wires, autolite 606 plugs, shift kit,10k HID Low's, 8k HID High's, 8k HID Fog's

    I didn't know there was a 6 button DIC. I thought there was only a 3 and a 5. But yes there's a write up somewhere on how to do it. As for the radio...couldn't tell ya. But I bet your manual can.
    2001 Regal GS, PLOG, 3" DP, 1.9's/L76 springs. 21* of timing on a 3.4"

    6? You mean 5? Search for it.

    The only way to keep the date is to keep a GP radio installed, you can do it remotely if you wish.

    It involves making a custom harness and mounting your stock stereo somewhere else in the car. I think there's a thread on another forum from a long long time ago, but is the date worth the trouble and the extra weight?

    not exactly, but it looks better than lines across the DIC. also, will the 5 DIC have all the same features? like the average speed and MPG and stuff?

    You don't have to look at the lines if you choose to display something different. I usually monitor instant econ and trans temps on my dic, so I never see it.

    The 5 button has everything your 3 does and a lot more.
