if it is then its missing the badging on the trunk lid and any mention in the paper work, I think in order for it to be a GT it has to have the supercharger

None of them mention it in the paperwork, technically they're all GT's there's no such thing as a base model like SE anymore, they're either GT1, GT2, GT3, or GTP. What's it say on your engine cover? If it has a SC than it's a GTP.

If it has a dual exhaust it's not a base model, and base means BASIC like no options so really even a base model with any options isn't really a base.

I meant on like Carfax and stuff it either doesn't say anything or just says GT or GTP. I might be wrong though.

I don't think my car has a VIN , jp I just ran mine and here it is.

tod1d yours is the special edition right? Because that's the special edition front and rear if I'm not mistaken maybe that's why it's so loaded.

06 and up there is no gtp. they did away with the gtp badge. just gt. there was diferent levels of gt's, dont really know what happend to those. gt1's had everything but no supercharger. gt2 had supercharger. also i pretty much had a base model 06 grandprix. no leather, no sunroof. single exhaust. basic radio. it wasent a gt by anymeans so i would asume its a base model

I think your right because a friend of mine has a 2007 base SC but it's not a GTP so yeah.

Mine is a 2004 GT with rear exhaust, GT badge, and leather center console but that's where the options end lol. I'm most likely gonna start messing with everything Wednesdayish, hopefully if the stuff I ordered comes in.

^^ Don't you hate when they do that? Shoot with them doing down the drain the way they are I would expect them to listen more to what their customers want.

    Already ordered:

    - Rear LED's
    - All interior lights (red)
    - Seat Covers (temporary until I find someone that will re wrap mine for a decent price)
    - Painting all interior chrome and plastic (white)
    - Headliner (re wrapped in white)

    Getting Soon:

    - Rims
    - Head and Fog Lights (Ultra SilverStars <- as soon as I find foglights)
    - Fog light (turn signal part) red instead of orange

After those little things probably Inferno Front Air Dam, Pioneer Navigation and whatever else I can think of . I just got new headlights (mine were worn out) about to get some new fogs too starting to get foggy :P.

A guy pulled to the lights right next to the store I work at today with the wing and the front Air Dam and I think I stood there and drooled over it the whole time he was at that light lol, my coworker asked if I saw a hot chick and than I felt pretty stupid lol.
