Can I Swap From the 04/05 Climate Control to the 06+ Dual Climate Control?

My buttons are pretty worn, so I figured if I was gonna swap might as well do it to the dual. If not, I got a nice 04/05 style lined up.

Nope.. at least not easily. 04s has 2 plugs, 06 has 3 plugs in the back. And pretty sure you'll have to do something with the bcm if it'd at all possible

Yeah a re-wire of the whole harness behind the dash and program the BCM, basically totally not worth it.

I'd rather spend time wiring in a HUD and 5 button DIC, lol.

Just picked up a 2007 GXP dual climate control HVAC control head -- 2 plugs. I'm gonna see if I can make the automatic fan controls work. I know the dual-zone will not work but might be cool as a project.
