Today my brother and I started the install on his 04 Comp G.

Got both manifolds removed, installed the rear header, crossover pipe and went to install the front header and cannot for the life of us get it to sit flush with the head no matter what (crossover to long). Ended up stopping here. Tomorrow we plan on picking up back where we left off; going to trim about 1/4" off the crossover on the end that slides into the connector in hopes it give us the clearance so the header can sit flush with the head.

    fingers crossed.

NO DON'T cut anything Install the front header first then the cross tube and then the back header. i almost made that mistake. Just loosen the read header and start from the front. Trust me. I hope you have some coper rvt and some good band clamps you need 2, 3 in ones for the rear and 2, 2 3/4 ones for the front.

Take a rubber hammer and caress it over the studs in the front head. It will go it just has to be persuaded. You won't dent or damage anything unless you really get butt wild on it.

No trimming required . Remove all studs and bolts from the front if you have to....it will fit.

you have the crossover on backwards.

SSAC are bolt on and go. no modifications needed.

Hopefully started the car for the first time tomorrow since the header and pulley install. Only think I am having trouble with is the front O2 is about 2 inches short of the wiring harness. What are you guys doing to remedy this? If I un tape some of the wiring will it have me enough room?

    They're just headers.

And you can get an extension from ZZP or splice it yourself.

Got called an idiot for doing this today.

Apparently its resistance sensitive... Its also a narrow band so it doesnt do much useful anyways.
