Do you think I can out some of the scratches with a high grit sand paper like 1000-2000 without it looking crappy?
There were some scratches on mine and I'll post up over the weekend whether or not it is possible. I'm no person to ask for body work since I leave that to professionals. I suck at body work.
My opinion, if you are going to do that, might as well just get it painted black after you are done with it. Remember it is plastic and kind of a tougher plastic than say a front or rear bumper. You could get away with it being flat black as well since it is a very flat grey right now.
I know for a fact the front fascia is removable haha... a railroad tie showed me that a few weeks ago. What is this "se" style rear fascia I hear about?
^^^so instead of carefully removing the bumper, you took the fast way!
lol. indeed. If i could get my damn pics to get off my album from Tmobile id show everyone the sadness :(
Valence is what the body shop guys called it
hmmm that one guy never said how his rear fascia came out... anyone know the best way to get scratches out of it. Will sanding be just fine, or is this a there's only one way to find out kind of deal.
i bet it won't sand out. you get it out by prying the two pins on each side next to the wheels, and there are two screws that go into styrofoam inside the bumper. after that, it's just alot of prying, there are clips all along the valance that sometimes like to be stubborn
