Hey everyone I have 2004 gtp and noticed my engine temperature was running
a bit high so I checked my coolant level and noticed it was a bit low. Also
I remember being told that red coolant was pretty bad stuff, and well that
what was in my car so I figured I would get a coolant flush and some new
coolant. By my house there is a midas which is a perfect spot for me to drop
off my car and have my buddy pick me up before school so I was thinking about
taking my car there. The only thing is the guy is telling me I need to get my
coolant flushed twice because if any of the red stuff stays in there then it
will clay up and mess things up. So do I really need to pay twice to get
it flushed twice or is this guy just looking to rip me off.

Might as well flush it yourself. There's threads on the boards about how to do it.

It would be a good idea to flush it twice. When green mixes with dex it turns into jello.

You would lose about 5oz of coolant when it is full if that.
