Ok in short, the car caught on fire in the engine compartment all under the engine cover and was put out pretty quick. ( the fuel line blew out and sprayed gas under the engine cover and hit a hot exhaust manifold). anyways here is my problem.
I put another engine harness on it. 6 injectors. new plug wires and some other misc stuff. after I get it all finished. I try and start the car and nothing. The DIC says "service" abs system, brake system, active handling system, and stability system. then low fuel. I figure the pcm got fried so I look for a replacement and find a pcm for a 04 gt. w/same part # , just needs flashed with a stock comp g file. Install it and DIC says same thing so I try to flash computer with hp tuners and hp tuners says "cant locate vcm" or somthing. Well I figured that pcm was bad. I find a 04 comp g pcm and buy it . Still same thing. car wont start, DIC says same thing.
Funny thing is I completey unplug the computer and same thing. Plugging up the computer makes no differece. I have checked all my connections to the fuse box and at the computer and the plug that goes into the car and all is fine as far as I can see. Now Im still using the same battery and it is showing 12 volts and I have tested with a battery tester while on a load its showing borderline for weak but it still should start the car. any ideal. is there somthing Im missing?
