My hud doesn't go down to adjust to level I like. Does anyone know what I need to do to fix it? Is it just an easy wire replacement or what? Everything else works with the hud, it just won't go down to adjust.

The spring came off of mine and it caused the display to drop out of sight. Had to remove the dash cover and HUD, take it apart, drill a small hole to attach the spring to (since a piece of plastic had broken off) and reassemble the whole thing. Biggest pain was the screws closest to the windshield.

if you look into your HUD through the windshield, and see a spring that is not attached to anything in there, you know it is the spring! it hooks up to the mirror, and the spring pulls it down to a roller, that is controlled by your shifter. I just fixed mine two days ago.

This is the result of me getting angry, and finding a replacement piece for $42 online, and saying to hell with this piece! i just broke it right out of there! patience is a virtue, most of the time
