I am looking for a exhaust that will make my GP sound like a throaty V-8. I have the SLp Cat Back now but it doesn't sound very V-8, any suggestions?

doesnt exist. have fun experimenting with different setups until you finally just go back to stock because nothing will sound good.

you have a turbo, so that makes a difference, but youll NEVER be able to make it sound like a v8.

Buy a V8, that should work

I had flow master 50s with a glass pack resonator,...
Didn't sound bad to me, but it was on a 99 3.8l SE

the best sound youre going to get is to find the absolute biggest glasspack you can find to give the exhaust that growling tone and then add some mufflers that arent buzzy. i would not suggest flowmasters.

Buy a cam and run 3" pipe to a muffler and have it open dump before the rear tires. That's as close as you will get.

I am having a SLP Power Flo Cat Back installed on my 07 GT this Friday. I've heard various opinions on the sound of various Makes of Cat Back systems. SLP is the best priced and I am sure it will open up the exhaust over stock. as far as sound, I am not looking for it to sound like a V-8. This car has a split personality anyway. It's a V-6 that thinks its a V-8. Lol. I'll let ya all know what I think of the SLP after its installed.

Can you take a video clip of it after its installed? I'd like to hear what it sounds like!!! Idle should sound the same as mine i'd think. Supercharger will only change the sound under boost if I'm not mistaken.
