So I have a few problems with my '04 GP and was wondering if I could get some help. First off my drivers and passengers front windows squeak when they go down and sometimes they don't go down at all. Is this something I can fix myself and if so what do I do? Secondly I have the 6 disc stock cd player and the buttons on the right don't light up but the rest of the buttons do, could it be a fuse or what do I need to do? Thirdly, and last, my hud won't go down when I try to adjust it, is their any way I can fix it on my own or do I need to take it to the dealer? Any help would be great, thanks.

    *This is an assumption*

I worked on the HUD in the F18 when I was in the navy and we needed special calibration tools to realign the screens. I'm assuming these are the same way as a HUD is a HUD and the dealer would have to do this.

For your squeaky windows. A weather stripping lubricate on the seals around the windows

For your lights on the radio try hitting the dash by the radio and they should come back on. If this doesn't work then they a burnt out and need replacing.

1.)You do not need to recalibrate anything your HUD. The return spring on the mirror broke. Look in the how-to for directions on how to fix. There are twenty threads on it.

2.)Could be several things with the window, tear ur door apart and look around.

3.)If you are audacious enough you could replace the bulbs in the deck urself. But then you would need to unlock it for the car again. (ie: theftlock or whatever it is called)

first thing i would do is grab some carbon powder and put it along the sides of the window (where it slide up and down within the watherstripping)

If you do open the deck and do it yourself, go into your DIC and change the theftlock off. Then you wont have to reset the lock to make your radio work again. First you turn it off, then you have to disconnect the battery so that it does not detect the removal of the deck.
