04 Pontiac Grand Prix Supercharged: I heard that it's more prone to KR... I have all the above for 3.5 Pulley but really want to run 3.4..

I'm just curious to which header set will be best?

    Front/Back Plogs/Downpipe or SD Headers?

And for the Back Plog, is it necessary?

So what will you recommend for headers. Best bang for my buck?

he does not support headers, thinks they do nothing cause he tunes his engine down to almost no timing so it dont knock.

speed daddy headers dropped my boost from 8 to 5 psi on the stock pulley. so they do something. 3.4 was hitting 10 ish

An intercooler, better fuel, or a cam.

Headers have shown to not actually change anything significant. I fought kr for years with headers and other bolt on's with no timing.

I've learned from multiple cars that exhaust does almost nothing for these cars. If you really want to make power, you need to fix the problem. The blower creates lots of heat. Until you fix that, you'll always be chasing your tail.

I ran a 2.7 on stock manifolds with 19° of timing.

Your made up facts are interesting to say the least.

Just was curious because there's a few out there with plogs and downpipe just wondered why. My guess is maybe easier install.

little bit easier to do a plog and down pipe. your not dealing with the cross over and rear manifold, but cost ya about the same. plogs have been somewhat messed up over at zzp, flanges leak or something. then they were out of stock for along while, not sure they even have any.

Definitely looking into getting an intercooler. Maybe just the Stage 1 from ZZP... Stage 2 is pricey. Heard about the blower and heat up etc. I'm sure all this top end work will ruin my 180K Trans. I need to get on that soon.

id go for the fsic. or a tuner and meth . or e85, injectors and a tuner.

headers or plog/ dp only make it flow better.

meth will keep the blower cooler then the ic will. i got both.

Definitely save up for the full stack. The ssic helps, but it's not anywhere close to the full.

Oh the old Headers V Manifold debate. I actually enjoy hearing what both sides have to say on the issue. I know my own personal experiences but more knowledge is better.
