Hi I'm pretty much brand new in terms of membership, but I've gone through quite a few other sites and forums, including this one, for some good options for an 04+ GTP that's completely stock. Everyone has a different sound they want for their car though, so I might as well ask. I am looking for a snarl under WOT that can resemble that of a dragster (I know v6's and built v8's can never truly sound alike under WOT, but similar savage tone is good enough for me), and a decently audible rumble at idle. Any suggestions? Should I just muffler delete and straight pipe it (keeping res and cat converter)? Or use glasspacks as mufflers? Also, my budget is anywhere from 200$ and lower (for parts). Labor will differ based on the people doing it, but I can deal with that. I really appreciate any help, as I am a noob of sorts , hence my username.

    Stock or borla mufflers.

Everything else will drone and you'll hate it, unless you are already deaf.

Okay thanks I mean I'm literally a noob. Let me rephrase: a mean snarl in general? Sorry if I'm making unrealistic requests

Best you can do for a reasonable amount of money is get a set of headers and replace the cat with a resonator. Sounds good enough for a V6, IMO
