As the title states.
Looking for a very solid DD, nothing over $3,000...something that I wouldn't hesitate to jump in and go 40~ miles each way for work five times a week. Obviously mileage is a factor, but 150k~ isn't considered high mileage to me with these cars, I was looking at one with 200k~.
Things I'm looking for: preferably a sedan (if you've got a coupe...I'm not against it), something in pretty damn good shape for what it's worth...and a stock car. Don't want your modded mess unless it might be just an intake, mufflers, or some window tint/inlays. Don't care about stereo's...if you have an aftermarket head unit or subs; keep em. Needs to pass a state inspection without handing money under the table, so: Needs to have emissions in check (has EGR, converter, mufflers, no cracks in the glass, you get what I'm leaning towards). This car has to have none at all or very minimal rust. Not looking for something that needs boatloads of work; just jump in and go. I'm not past tossing brakes on it, or doing a full top end refresh, but if the thing needs a transmission, or a full suspension overhaul, or has many quirks or a shoddy interior...I'm not wanting to redo AC, or have blend door issues. God forbid you give me something that won't blow heat or AC on one side, I'll bring that car back and burn it in your garage
Wouldn't be opposed to driving for it, probably not more than 500~ miles or so, make a small roadtrip out of it or something.
