I was wondering if anyone has changed the led halo rings in the Spyder Headlights? Ive had this set of headlights for almost two years and they have worked great for me once i fixed the bouncing and added HID's to them. I just hate how not bright the led halos are and if Im going to keep them Im going to replace them with RGB led Rings that are suppose to be way brighter because they have way more leds in the ring facing outward. I just want to know if anyone has done this and what size rings they got to replace them. Also if the headlights held up after being taken apart and put back together because I know they aren't the sturdiest being aftermarket pieces of crap and all.

The set of spyders I had were CCFL halos so Im assuming yours are too. Ive had a ballast go bad and cause the dim halo or dead halo. They are about $10 per on ebay worth a shot. Also the CCFLs are much brighter and better quality looking than the LEDs in my opinion.

Some spyders had LED halos. So replacing the transformer wont help becuase he probably never had one.

Yeah I definitely bought the led halo ones. About a year later I kept seeing the ccfl ones for about the same price and I was upset about it lol

    Thanks,

im assuming you can search amazon for ccfl halo the hard part is finding the right size that matches and probably a little bit of retrofitting
