    ive somehow broke the tab and i need to get the seat off. Please help

    tab? what part of the seat you talking about? the lower or the seat back?

    stick your fingers under it, 1/3 the way in from each outside edge, then lift it in a popping motion, do each side, then slide it forward and out from under the upper section.

    then make sure the metal where it clips in is not all bent out of shape.
