Northern Virginia had a lot of rain Sunday night. I hadn't been in my car since this morning, and this afternoon, I discovered the rear passenger floor was damp, likely from the rain. I park the car on the street, and that end was the "lowest" point of the car. The trunk is dry, the front passenger floor is dry, and under the passenger seat it's dry. I know I can just get some cheap carpet padding from the hardware store, but what about carpet to fit the car? If I can suck most of the water out of the current carpet and replace the pad, I may just live with it, unless it starts to smell...
