I've always just used a fingernail for those. You can also use sticker remover, goo gone, etc. to help with the process. Heating may help also.

Just heat it with a hair drier and use your fingernail. Don't use anything to help your nail. Just find a little kid, they love picking stuff off where they usualy arent allowed to.

Well if you're going to get a car from a dealership be sure to ask the salesperson how much they're going to pay you for advertising them with that sticker. It's not hard to get them to either take it off or not put it on in the first place.

I demand it be removed before I sign anything. Works every time.

And, if not, it's just a vinyl decal. I put them on my car in various places, and take them right back off if I don't like them. Like this:

Or this (notice the 3rd brake light):

I've also gotten really good at getting the factory emblems off and am in the process of rebadging my whole car to my liking.

    X2

I can remember back when the dealerships would pop rivet on the metal badges. (not saying I am old, I'm only 28) Talk about pissed off owners when they tried to remove the, and found drill holes through their car, or...it would start rusting from the drill holes and then there would be hell to pay.

"most" dealerships around here have just plain old stickers you can peel off with your finger nail on a warm day. I can remember when the GF bought her GTP, that was the first mod to the car.

To remove factory emblems, I use dental floss and Goo-gone. Wait until its warm (or carefully use a hair dryer) and pull the dental floss back and forth behind the emblem, through the adhesive. Fishing line works well too, but floss is cheap and my car likes the mint flavor.

Once you get it off, the Goo-gone and a paper towel will take off the remaining adhesive. I like the spray gel of Goo-gone as it likes to stay where you spray it (nice when working on a vertical surface).

just heat it up with a hair dryer and carefully peel it away with a razor blade. the heat will make the stick soft and easy to remove.

Take some sandpaper to your tips for now. Then light coat of oil and wipe off. If you've got a dremmel tool and a lot of time on your hands you could polish them.
debadged, clear corners, 20% tint, tinted tails, vibrant performance tips, red painted calipers, Fig. grills, autometer guages, PFYC 3 pod A pillar, SLP CAI, 2.5" DP, SD Hood, SD front air damn, Gen I spoiler, 17X8 Borbet Type M rims, engine upgrades soon!

LOL, i remember that! I remember my dad ordered a brand new Cutlass Supreme through GM (he worked there). Well the car ended up coming through a local dealer for detail and he of course pick up. When he got there they DRILLED there dealer badge on the decklid, he was sooooooo pissed. He made those SOBs go out to the transport, unload another Cutlass identical to his and supervised them while they swapped the decklids! LOL.

I know dealers around here don't use those badges anymore. I doubt any do because people like my dad would ***** and make them fix it right.

It comes off easy too. Fishing wire, Goo Gone, and wax will be your best friend...
