Alright so i was tinting my tailights today and got them to the point where i felt they were tinted enough. I go to spray them with this clear coat i got from walmart and when it dries they look all white and theres these ugly circles from the clear coat that dried on the lights. I got pissed off so i put another shade of tint on them and it seems fine now. Anybody know what kind of clear coat would work best to not leave those white spots and where i should buy it from?

Heres what i got so far i havent put the lights in the reverese light yet so thats why theyre hanging what do u think?:

It's fish eyes. It's from not cleaning the sufrace your painting well enough. I would just try cleaning it real good after you tint them and try again.

Don't scrape it off. If anything sand it with like 1200 grit sand pper. Don't ruin your lights. You could even wet sand them. If your going to start all over wet sand the tails. Tint them. Let them dry over night. And then spray the clear on them in light coats.

A downside of them not being cleared is they will have less of a gloss and be less protected from scratches ect. But that's it.

wet sand with 1000 1500 and 2000 then acetone them down and repaint Im about 99% sure that will fix them. I did the same thing with my headlights but their pitted pretty bad and will be getting new ones because I wasnt happy how they looked. Headlights are a whole different issue though.
