Any thoughts out there as to which are the best tires for the price to use on a stock '04 GT? This car is completely stock and is used only for basic transportation. Tire size is 225/60R16

I put Falken Sincera SN-828 on the front of my GP after reading reviews. Tires do well in the dry and the wet. According to reviews they do well in the snow too.

I as well have Cooper CS4s as well, and I really like them. Decent all around tire.

cs4s have a lot of problems with dry rot and sidewall blow outs.

I've had them on my car for roughly two years and no issues. But, now they are my winter tires. I'm running Federal 595 now on 18's.

Love Goodyear Eagle GTs in that size. Far better than stock, though they look a bit knobby if that's not your thing.
Irridium spark plugs last 100k mi and work just as well as copper. Copper is a waste on N/A and only lasts 15k mi. Don't use Platinum.
Use 195* tstat unless you can thoroughly explain why not; 99.9% don't need a lower temp.
Almost any oil filter, ever, is of higher quality than ACDelco. Spend $6+.

Eagle GTs were stock on my car. And I know they are on several other 04+ GPs with 16's stocker.

    That is 100% LIES

You're thinking of Goodyear LTs, which are ****bag tires.

Okay, I retract, but my car did in fact come with GTs. But according to this they were Eagle LSs, not LTs.

I didn't buy my car brand new either, which is why I had GTs.

I have Pirelli P4 All Season tires, I like em. Decent price, hold the road pretty good.

Sorry homie, I read it too quick... thought you were saying that GTs were stock on GPs.

    See snow? Avoid GT's.

    I'm liking my 98 H fuel max's.

    No winter driving yet though.
