I have a GXP. so I'm not supposed to. (I do have the inflator I'm supposed to have, as well.) I haven't checked yet to see if I have the jack.

Is this a common thing, or did all the rest of you get an empty circular depression in your trunks?

GXP's came with no spare from the factory. The base, GT and GTP's had the donut spares.

So this is an addition by a previous owner? Is it true that it won't fit over the rotors in the front? (It's a 16 inch donut.)

wont likely clear, but the trick here is to carry two jacks. if you get a front flat, you take a rear wheel off put it up front, donut in the back. how i roll in my regal with camaro brakes up front. spare wont fit now.

98 Buick Regal GS, F body brakes, Caddy STS wheels, tinted tails L36 bottom end, lightly ported heads, 1.95 roller rockers, headers, gen 5 N* 3.0 pulley, FSIC, 42 lb injectors, a BrandonHall rebuilt trans, DHP tuned and AEM water/Meth injection https://goo.gl/gpV5kW
