    07 GXP stock Rims

So I need new tires due to some alignment issues. I've been looking around and I plan on getting DWS 06. I've noticed an odd thing when searching for tires on Continental or TireRack based on vehicle it doesn't list DWS 06 as available for our cars. However when searching based on size, the size IS available.

When looking at the specs of the tire they are a fit for the car, there are no issues with load rating or speed rating.

Any thoughts as to why this might be?

    Because they are dumb.

I have found Discount tire direct to be my web tire store.

Those tires are about the same price on DTD with a $70 prepaid Visa rebate and free shipping.

Tire rack has never been an option for me because of shipping costs and no deals.

The 70 dollar Visa is manufacturer's rebate right now. I'm lucky because there is a Tirerack distribution center about 30-45 minutes away so there is no shipping at all for me.

I wonder if they are "over" rated. Meaning the tires are beyond the OEM so they don't show up, even though that doesn't make much sense.

    Well Tire Rack it is.
    You have it figured out.
I just bought some Cooper C5 ultra tourings and love em. Price was right and 145 back in rebates.

If you know the size you want buy and who cares about a web site glitch.

WeatherTech laser fit floor mats arent listed for my car which is an 04 but they are for an 07.
So I just ordered the 07 which is the same damn thing.
I emailed WT to tell them 04-08s are the same and they might be losing sales.
They said thanks and they would look into it. 3 years later and nothing changed.

    Go with what you know

Fair enough, I just didn't know if maybe there was something in the rating for the tires I was missing =/

Most of the time a mechanic has a hook in a tire store. He lets me use his guy House of Tires. using Continental contiprocontacte now. No problems even in the snow
