Credit for this info goes to TehGTP. I just did some research and gave it a try, and wanted to share with others.

So your in the market for some shorter dog bones ZZP'S price is $27.99 (w/o shipping) and Wbody Stores is $25.99 (w/o shipping)

So here is the solution Check Autozone, AdvancedAuto, O Reilly Auto Parts, etc... the price is about $12 per mount ( or around here that is the price, it may be different in other states)

Part #2899 they are top torque struts for 2001 Pontiac Aztek and they work out great.

So lets do the math $12+$12=24 WOW!!! your already saving, and no shipping charge so you save on that also

Hope this helps some people out.

I just went down to Autozone to pick some up and here in Texas and online they are $24 for one. So I looked up Rockauto and just bought a pair shipped for $17.50. I love Rockauto. And thanks again for the part number.

They roll the engine forward thus moving the gravity center of the engine forward. For car with lowering kits it helps return the motor position closer to stock so that everything lines up better. At least that is what I think I read.

If you have the Pacesetter's you can't run shortened dog bones AND lower your car...the movement and new placement of the motor will put the 3-bolt flange right up against the floorboard and grind against it all day long...trust me. I know.

damn really...but doesnt lowering your car put the downpipe farther from the floor board...liek the motor is tipped more backward? and the dogbones compensate for this?

shorter dog bones... If you want to do it right get spacers to get rid of vibrations. Alot of guys melted their rad fans by having their exhaust manifold/header to close from the shorter dog bones tilting the motor more forward.
