So last year i bought a 95 grand prix and was warned the transmission leaked. I took it to my local mechanic and he said he couldn't find any leaks. I keep checking the fluid, it is always below the hatch line. So I fill it, go for a drive, check it again, at the exact same level. I have never seen any signs of leakage on the ground. Is there something I'm not getting? maybe its simply someone has the wrong dipstick in there and I simply fill it till it overflows? but then that raises the question of why wouldn't I see the fluid on the ground?
Any help would be greatly appreciated

How much are you adding at a time? You need to have the car in park on a level surface, running in order for an accurate reading. And make sure it's warmed up too.

About the only place I can think of that the tranny fluid could be getting out of the trans without showing up on the ground is in the radiator. Check your coolant

Yes! I did more research I think this is exactly what it is, supposedly it is somewhat common with this vehicle. I was going to check it out tomorrow.
