Wondering if someone can shed some light on what I might be doing wrong.

I got a PCM from Reptile and need to do a Case Relearn.

I figured after calingl a couple Dealers, both wanted a 100 bucks,,, I figured I'd invest in a AeroForce Interceptor since I figure it would be a good investment anyway.

Well after 2 days of Trying their Case Learn procedure , I get nothing, Followed the instructions read their Forum....no idea why this is not working anyone have and ideas, options or whatever.

    Thanks in advance.

I Idled the Engine to over 160F before starting the process, so it was warmed up and I was monitoring the Temp. Also I ran a different scan Tool and No other codes than the 1336 Case Relearn code is showing. I'm just thinking maybe there is a Trick I am missing.

So after more searching I did find in most cases doing the Case Learn you need to be hitting 5150 RPM , now I am really only hitting around 4100 before the Fuel limiter kicks in and then the Instructions say to let off to idle. (Could this be the problem?) So if anyone has been successful with a case Learn with an Aeroforce how? and what was your Fuel Cut off RPM that allowed you to do it. Any advice is Greatly appreciated.

When performing the case learn the fuel limit is bypassed so for whatever reason, the Aeroforce isn't telling the PCM to perform the crank learn.

Thanks sorry been traveling/working alot my GP got put on the back burner. So it could be the AeroForce not registering back the command to the PCM? Defect in the Aeroforce or just something that just happens sometimes?

The Aeroforce isn't sending the command to the PCM. I personally don't have an Aeroforce so I can't tell you whats wrong with it, but I can tell you the PCM is not being told to do a CASE learn.

Ok thanks, I thought I was crazy because it was not hitting the RPM (cutting out too soon). I am going to try again this weekend and redo the steps including all the connections (PCM included) and see if that works. If not I'll just need to take it to the Dealership and make sure to find one that won't Reflash the PCM. Right now its not a high priority project. Thanks for the advice.

Honestly I never got around to it, I had some issues and stuck it back in Storage. It is an option on the Aeroforce, some have good results .some haven't. It depends who you talk to (that is coming from the AeroForce forum). I was having issues then , I had some brake line issues so I stopped. It is not my daily so it has been sitting. I am going to do the lines this coming week (weather permitting ) and maybe try again after I get it inspected.
