Has anyone ran into the problem of maxing out your maf table? Not the frequency but the max g/sec in the horizontal chart. It has a max of 4,XXX something and im right at that at around 10,000 Hz. I am using a mini afc at 70%.

    In HP Tuners?

Some values in HPT do just stop so using Hz or dynamic airflow is used.

image — imgbb.com in the pic you can see the max is 4,063 lb/hr I am just about there at 3,824 and my buddy’s car is maxed out at 4.063 from 10,000 on up. I’m not sure what you mean.

Without the picture it seemed like you are talking about the scanner function at first. My response was about certain parameters in the scanner that have a max value they will report.

If you are reaching the max of the actual airflow in the MAF table you need to change to a different MAF sensor to gain back resolution. The MAF you pick needs to have a larger diameter housing so it can keep you within the limits of the MAF table.

I don't know the sizes off hand that well but say you are using a 78mm MAF housing, going to a 85mm MAF housing would be the way to go. I can't remember if the LS1 or LT1 MAF's are the ones larger than the truck MAF.

I thought the frequency was directly related with the lb/hr measurement. So my buddies car that is E-85 has way less are flow than my turbo setup as im using a afc controller at 70% and around the same frequency as him wot. His is completely maxed out at 4,063 lb/hr passed 10,00 hz. We are both using an LQ4 MAF. Is there any other walk around besides a new maf? which I believe would be the ls7 one.

A bigger maf isn't really the best answer, especially with the issues people have with the ls7's.

Scale back both the maf table and the ifr table the same amount. (90% or something). This will get you away from the hard limit.

    !!!RESURRECTION FROM THE DEAD!!!

Im in the same boat here. Remote tuning "Hellboi" and maxed the flow rate of the MAF table. Will be scaling soon. I will this forum would get more action. We need more info.

yeah you have to lie to the pcm, alot in some cases.

the TR runs 127lbhr injectors, however the IFR table is that of 60's, and thankfully we have a vintage range scalable AFC with 10khz and up at 50% tapering down to 80% at 4k and down.

bee carefull when double checking yourself that you keep in mind that your only telling it about half the air...and half the fuel (or 2/3rds/3/4 etc wherever your range is needed, try not to shoot for too much headroom.leaving 50-75 gps (dhp) headroom is fine but much more than that and your killing resolution.

what now nearly 4 years ago when we shredded the TR's 11th trans....we hit 27psi before he spun the tires at 106 mph and the inj on time/maf and rpm said we were making about 500hp....which threw me for a loop....till i remembered that i needed to multiply it by 2

i dont know if we did or not....but we may have made close to 1000 at the crank before we shredded the ISS reluctor wheel with the slip n grip at 105
