I felt the need for more power than my Grand Prix GT could deliver, so I started the search for 4th gen TA to replace 91 GTA that didn't run. I was looking 6speed WS6, but most were out of my price range or had huge mileage. I ran across a 1999 auto with only 17k on the odometer at very good price, and I got them to drop price further after negotiations.

So flew out Denver, looked over the car , car looked amazing inside and out. Still had the original Goodyear Eagles, which were sketchy as..... through the rain through the Rockies.

2,600 miles later and amazing drive through the Rockies, Utah, and Nevada I had it back home in Chula Vista where apparently I put a break in the drought.

More pics after removing the Pontiac windshield banner and I also found all the original docs neatly packed in zip lock bag

All very nice! Not sure how old the pix are, but under 20K mileage is great. Looks like you have potential to be a landscape photographer, if you aren't already...lol. Ever race that Vette across the street? Or is that yours too? 24 m.p.g. highway seems optimistic... How close to real world is that?
For the record : I am NOT a naked meth-head who shoves rocks up my butt.

Those pics were right after I got it home, about 2 years ago ( July 2015). Car has slightly over 30k now and new tires, belts, wiper blades, and brakes as all the old rubber and pads looked original and were junk after 16 years.

The vette belonged to a Navy guy who used to rent across the street, no never raced him or the roommate with gen 5 Camaro. Though they both got a kick that my 99 had less miles than their newer cars.

Never really keep track of the mpg, but because I mainly drive it for fun the gas goes quickly.

24 freeway is easy to see on the open road at 70mph. The corvettes of that time got 26-28 all the time with nearly the same LS1.

Just too bad it has a wimpy 4L60e in it though.

Very nice. My wife's DD for a few more weeks is an 02 Z28 in the same color. She bought it new right as she graduated college. Your T/A is very clean. Finding one in that condition with such low miles is very rare.
