Thread: do you use chrome? do your videos lag? step inside.

the last few days my pc has has a hell of a time playing youtube or any other video hosting sites videos with out lagging up a storm, full screen was un watchable. found this today. read and followed the directions, and bam all fixed up.

I quit Chrome years ago. Never had issues with Firefox.

this is the first problem ive had using chrome. from that link, they just did a update, and lets say it did not agree with adobe flash player. it added something called pepperflash.

they are going more and more towards html 5
i'd bet that pepperflash is an opensource decoder that runs .swf files

also firefox was like what i.e. used to be
and by that i mean i left at version 3 to beta chrome when it first came out
so glad that i did. ff used to be a memory hog and then when you add plugins it makes it crawl even more

now please note that i do have 8 gigs ram with an overclocked processor so it isnt that, even tho it may be a few years old
