I talked with her Mother today and she said:

"I have been reading on her homepage the comments you guys have posted. I have been reading them to her also. I am not sure how to respond so I will let her do that when she gets better. But if you could let them know she smiled at all the comments and gave a thumbs up."

I have been in contact with her mom the last couple of days. Jess is awake and alert. They are hoping now that she is home by thanksgiving but she will have to demonstrate an ability to keep food down, and walk by herself. She is not doing this at this time, but they are hoping by Thursday she can go home. I know she is fighting as much as she can, but she continues to get better as far as the infection goes in her lungs. Keep praying for her and lets hope for the best. I know everyone would like to be able to be home for Thanksgiving if at all possible. As you can imagine Jess is sleeping a lot right now recovering. Jess, we all wish you the best of course.

i hope shes ok . . . the worst thing is not having ur immune system strong enough to prepare for such a foreign invader . . . which brings me to the question. . .
From what everyone has been hearing about other people that have taken the vaccine. do u think it is worth it or do you think it might cause a long term health risk such as the 1918 swine flu??????

Thank you all so very much. I am up now and can type! This is part of my recovery lol. Im praying tomorrow I will have more energy and will beable to do more so I can get the hell out of this place. As far as it being H1N1 that put me down it wasent all its fault. I set up pneumonia in my lugs and went almost three days without medical attention. Iv learned my lesson next time im sick im going to the doctor! I still can't talk very good because it hurts from having the tubes in my throat. Doc said the reason my response is so slow is cause my brain was deprived of oxygen for to long and when they induced the coma they put it on "sleep mode" it needs a jump start he said! I havent been able to walk much without help and even with help not very far. They moved me at around 11ish to a reg room this place is freaky they have REAL nuns! Anyways! Thanks for the prayers now just pray they let me outta this damn place! Im going back to sleep now! Also I couldn't really laugh outloud but my mom trying to read your screen names and then reading what you posted plus your mod list made me crack up on the inside! So again thanks to you all!
