    It should just bolt up. As long as it has the H-pipe and everything behind it you should be good to go. Also make sure you get the hangers for the other side if the guy has them as the single exhaust cars don't have them. I'll have to crawl under my 03 tomorrow and see where they are. If it is truly a factory system then that's a good deal for $100 as they are good quality stainless and usually last a long time. I have the factory dual exhaust that my 03 came with still under it and there aren't any holes in it.

    If you decided to add the dual exhaust yourself Walker sells the parts, but the H-pipe alone is around $50, then you still have to add another muffler and tailpipe to that.

    And no, it's no bother. I didn't know you signed up on CV.net. Yea, it can be kinda hard to get a good response there sometimes. I've been a member over there since the late 90's. There is another forum you could check out that is friendly as well. www.grandmarq.net I've been on there for a while too now, as are some of the good CV.net guys. And you won't get berated for asking basic questions if you are new to the platform. Just don't ask how to make it "look like a cop car". That's really frowned upon and us CV owners take exception to that kind of stuff.

    Yeah I priced out the walker stuff about an hour ago. It probably makes more sense to get the PI catback if it's stainless since I don't think the walker setup will last in the long run.

    I was watching some YT clips of exhaust and think I might actually swap out the mufflers for a pair of glasspacks. I don't know if you've seen this vid but I think it sounds pretty damn good..............https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fc2QidENKuw

    I'm not going for the cop car look so no worries there lol. It'll probably stay the way it is visually, though I did see a Marauder type spoiler I thought looked pretty sweet.

    Glasspacks could cackle and pop a lot on decel and may have a bunch of drone on the highway. I don't mind the pop but I cannot stand drone, especially since I do a lot of highway driving. Might want to check into that part.

    What I am planning is to remove the stock mufflers and get some Magnaflow 11224's or similar and remove the silencers from the tailpipes (which you shouldn't have on the PI exhaust- they look like small glasspacks about midway between the axle and the rear exit). Leave the 4 stock cats in place. Still sounds good cruising with no drone yet have some sound when the loud pedal is pushed hard.

    There are also some inexpensive longtube headers out there if you feel like entering the 5th circle of hell to install them. OBX and Maximizer (an OBX copy) are decent. If you have the $$ laying around and want the best then check out StainlessWorks. They sound/work great and are designed specifically for the CV/GMQ. I so want to get some longtubes on my Sport. And FYI, shorties and midlength headers are a waste of time to install. LT or nothing on these cars from what I've read/researched.

    I did install Speed Daddy (AKA Chinesium) headers on my GTP so I wonder how much harder it would be on the CV because that was kind of a pain in the ass. 5th circle of hell doesn't sound too promising though lol. I think I may just stick the PI exhaust on for now and worry about sound later. There's more suspension stuff I want to do first since that's really the weak point of the car for me. The control arms are probably next in line after the PI exhaust. I did a quick look at the stock ones and they are cheap stamped steel looking things. Not great on a 2 ton car lol.

    As far as the drone that is something I'm concerned about but it's not really a deal breaker as long as it's not too intrusive. The glasspacks are cheap enough to where if I don't like them it's not a big deal to swap them out. They're only $20-30 depending on brand/size. I like those Magnaflows you posted, I'll have to look into them further. Price isn't too bad either. If you do get them, record a video and post it.

    The LT install will likely take about 6 hours per side, sometimes longer if the stock manifold bolts don't play nice. There just isn't a lot of room to work with the wide-ass 4.6 in there so if the car is your DD you better plan ahead and have a backup car around for a few days. But the reward for some more power and much better sound seems intriguing.

    Also, if you want to upgrade the shocks at some point then take a look/research the KYB Gas-A-Just Police spec shocks. Another good handling upgrade. I have them on all 4 corners of my Sport it handles bumps well and keeps everything planted much better than the factory ones did. And luckily for the 03+ guys the rear shocks were moved more outboard on the axle which means you can actually get a wrench on the top nut that is sandwiched inbetween the mount and the body. It's still a tight fit but far easier than the old way they were mounted. If you do go for the shocks let me know as I have a few pointers on them that helped me out.

    I'm thinking about maybe lowering it sometime in the future. Not slammed or anything like that, just maybe an inch or inch and a half. The guy who I bought it from had a crown vic before this one and lowered it and said it was well worth the money for looks and handling.

    Clean crown vic, always a nice choice. Large cars, decent for power and still good mpg just cruising around.

    Someday I'd totally like to have a grandma driven grand marquis or shoot even a lincoln town car executive model just to ride in the luxury cloud lol. Finding a civilian model crown vic from 2008-2011 is hard and those are the only ones I'd really want. Or a marauder would be sweet.

    My only grip with the older cars in the dash cluster, I hate not having the rpm gauge and they didn't switch interior design until 2005. The Marauders I know had the rpm clusters.

    Side note here, get the lip spolier. I think those look great on the back of these cars.

    Yea, the lack of a tach has always pissed me off. I'm debating on getting a separate gauge so I can read the RPM's. The Marauder cluster swap is a PITA just for a tach.

    I'd rock a Town Car Exec. in a heartbeat if I was in the market for one.

    The Marauder lip spoiler does kind of set these off a bit. Not too large where it looks like some ricer wing.

    If your pockets are deep enough then there is a complete bolt-in Vortech kit available for the 03+ cars too.

    Finally put the Addco rear bar in, and it's a major improvement. Still not where I'd like it to be but MUCH better around corners and more composed over rough pavement. Well worth the $200. Exhaust should be welded in Monday. I'll see if I can upload a sound clip to YT once it's in.

    My mechanic talked me out of the idea of glass packs, said it would likely be obnoxiously loud and I agreed. Wound up going with Flowmaster 40 mufflers instead. The Flowmasters are decent. A bit louder than stock at idle but good sound when accelerating. They do drone when on the highway and you give it a little throttle. Not super annoying though.

    Nope, haven't ordered them yet. I'll probably need to replace the steering shaft first though. I have to spray it with PB blaster every couple weeks to prevent it from sticking, not returning to center, etc. Other than that it's been running good.
