Car fires up and idles better than ever now, and still no sign of leaks of any kind! Planning to get some bodywork done soon, then headers and a tune, then 18" KV5s and Vogtland springs, in due time. At least it's coming together again, looking as nice as it used to

Okay, there's 2 sensors on the back of the motor, on that bracket above the rear valve cover. Only one is hooked up to something, the other isn't. What are these, and what are they supposed to both be hooked to?

Not being one to leave well enough alone, I got sick of the primer black blower and valve covers. So, this is where I'm at now, and the front valve cover is going to match as soon as I can get it all apart

Love that shine!! Any thoughts on whether the red stripes should make a comeback?

If you were to put stripes I would do it silver, or just leave it black. Not a fan of red unless the car is red

Looks good! No stripes. What I would do is grind then top of the ribs and polish them. That's my plan. I'm getting rid of the red, makes my eyes sore now.

And maybe extend the wire harness and tuck it away. It looks like a lot of work but soooo much nicer seeing only blower and not a pile of dirty wires. I'm gonna grab an extra harness to do this eventually.

I've thought that time and time again, but I just don't know of a clean, safe place to tuck it all away. I wish someone had some sort of write up, I'll have to ask around

Went on a bit of a shopping spree... 12 inch dual piston Impala calipers, new pads and rotors for all 4 corners, Overkill tune, HUD trim panel, BMR tubular trailing arms, a real oil cap (polished aluminum, of course), and a few odds and ends here and there are all on their way

Probably fix the spring I imagine... It's a very common issue amongst us 04-08 guys.

Yeah my friend with a GXP had to drill another hole for the spring to sit in because the original one broke, I guess.

I stuck a plastic washer there with JB weld and hooked the spring to that instead, I don't need the plastic cracking on me again in a few years. The cowl panel disintegrated when I tried to take it out, too, but I already had a new one because the old one was cracked

Finally got around to putting pictures up...

    Stock front brakes, 93k miles

    '06+ dual piston Impala upgrade

Dash apart for HUD fix (can't see it but the cowl trim, pillar trim, and DIC trim all had to come off too)

The trim didn't behave on its way out of the dash

    IT LIVES

BMR vs. stock GM trailing arms

    Old...

And new. Also got an Overkill tune in the mail the other day
