Update: installed a stock gen 3 supercharger with stock pulley and an L36 throttle body. the throttle body leaked coolant at first, so I put an L67 gasket on it, and fixed it. I also picked up a map sensor from an 04+ gtp because it is physically the same size as the map sensor in the naturally aspirated car's but is 2 bar instead of 1 bar. when I swap the L36 intake setup back on, that sensor will get wired in, so the install will look better.

I see attempts at snowmen builds, but rarely an actual snowman. I think the ticking sound is from the lifters and is more noticeable because of the headers.

I wondered if that's just how they sound with headers.

zzp claims their headers don't make the lifters noisy, and say the cheaper header set's do, but it doesn't really bother me.

how do you figure? I'm smiling in all the pictures. the lady standing next to my wife is the one that looks scared. the crazy thing is that we were in the ocean, and if we weren't careful, the movement of the water could have pushed us into the deeper part where the dolphin swam.
