Figured I would start a thread here in the members area to give all of you an idea of what I have done with my grand prix throughout the years I have owned it.

A little background. I purchased this car brand new in 99 from the Pontiac dealer. It is a silvermist GT. It had 12 miles on it when I took it for a test drive. It is currently sitting at 97,XXX miles. This has been a good daily driver for me these past years. I doubt I will be selling it anytime soon. I think I'm going to keep this forever .

The only real issue with the car was the LIM gaskets. Other than that it's been routine maintenance.

Mods that I have done throughout the years:
    -GMPP lowering springs
    -GMPP konis
-GMPP front and rear sway bars
    -GMPP trailing arms
    -GMPP 12" brake upgrade
    -Borla cat back
    -SLP CAI
    -HV3
    -ER Rockers
    -HV throttle boddy
    -PLOG
    -PRJ Wires
    -18" Black Falken Koblenz
    -Added HUD
    -Added digital DIC
    -Full audio system
    -HU Mount
    -Roof Rails
    -Painted OEM black style headlights
    -Optilux angel eye fog lights
    -SLP Gen 2 spoiler
    -MPD F1 hood
    -SD Air Dam
    -Red LED Tails
    -Fill interior LED's

Here are some photos throughout the years:

This is the earliest photo I have. It had AE 077's for the longest time. It's too bad they started to pit on the inside. Also had an SLP gen 1.

I then went with black wheels as projectors. I got rid of the projectors after a couple years. They bounced even after using every fix for them. The beams crossed and they left weird gaps between the bumper. So I sold them and went with a set of OEM lights that I painted black like the ebay lights.

These are the wheels that are currently on it. I am looking for a new set since one of the wheels has some bubbling under the chrome lip.

Also have silver painted calipers with vinyl decals

The custom billet badge. I have since put the stock one back on.

The engine bay with the engine cover on. An older photo with the stock intake.

The engine cap decal courtesy of reflective concepts

This is how it currently looks. The SLP gen 1 has been replaced with an SLP gen 2. Replaced the tails with red LED tails. Had my rear bumper letters painted to match the color of the car. Picked up the MPD F1 hood from a local guy a few years ago as he was hurting to make his mortgage. I picked it up for $500 and had it painted 2 years ago.

    Future mods:
New 18's. Currently looking. Going silver this time.
Repaint sometime this year since the clear coat is starting to to on the front and rear bumper and the front fenders.
Double din head unit set up
Top swap. This is a big maybe. I have my 02 Camaro SS if I need to feel speed.
Retro projectors. Another maybe. I live in the city so lighting is not an issue.
Katzkin interior. The front driver seat has a real small hole on the bolster.
    Retint.

Thanks. Just a tad darker. It's illegal to have tint on the front windows here in California. I have been pulled over for it a couple times thus the light tint. I will probably do the same as what my brother has on his 03.

That paint looks soooo smoooth. I tried finding a swirl but I am sure there isn't any.
Since you are so into the detailing aspect, how can you live with the scrapes on the air dam?

    But yeah ...sweet looking ride
Need some Bonnie wheels like your Broski.....bingo!!

Thanks. Trying to keep those swirls at bay. The good thing is the silver hides any of them that are probably around. It's inevitable to get some on a daily driver.

Yeah those scrapes on the SD are not pretty but it was the guy in the red grand prix that put them in. I let him drive it for a few days and he drives on the highway to get to work. There was no way I was going to let him drive my Camaro. I'm eventually going to get the front and rear bumper painted. The front is fading and the rear has clear coat failure in the typical spots that these cars get them.

Trust me. I have been looking for some bonnevile wheels. I found those for him and he got a deal at $300 for them. Ridind On Chrome and I have been chatting on wheels to replace these black ones. But still looking. I know for sure I'm not going black this time.

I have been looking for new wheels to replace the black one's due to the chrome bubbling on one. These are the front runners. I am not going black anymore and no more lipped wheels. Looking for a nice simple design. These of course will be 18's. I already have the tires 245/45-18.

    ASA GT8 - new design for 2014

Give you an idea of what they look like in 18's. Although in black

    Sport Edition KV5's

    MSR 048

This color option looks decent as well but leaning more towards the silver ones.

    TSW Rivage

What they look like in 18's.

Out of those choices I like the MSR the most. KV5s have just been done to many times. TSW I would check the weight because they tend to be on the heavy side and expensive!
Squirrels are my engine. I need a Ford Regal

Thinking the same thing about the ASA's and the MSR's. I have been looking at the TSW's but there is something about them that I'm not feeling. I think they are somewhere between 22-25 pounds. The MSR's are 19 lbs according to another memmber who has them on his wifes car. Still looking.

Ah the good ol ladybug red taillights. They could use a light coat of tint.

TSW and ASA's would look great if they had a bit of a concave to them.

I agree with you on the wheels. But no tint on the tails. I'm not a fan of tinted tails.

Washed the car this weekend. Also gave the new DUB metal polish that is created by Meguiar's for DUB a whirl. Worked out great given the fact that I did it really fast as I was pressed for time. Used it on the tips of my borla cat back.

    After

Also used some sonus acrylic glanz to boost the klasse sealant that has been on the car for 7 months now. It is still going strong. Sheets well and beads well after 7 months.

On a side note what would you guys recommend to remove some of these surface scratches from the borla exhaust tip.
