    This is my ride.
    Mods List:
    De-cat
glasspack before the y in place of resonator
    engine removed for build.
    Otherwise stock

Needs a good cleaning, gonna redo the interior in black.

Heres my engine after pulling it out. its nasty.

Someone sprayed the heads with john deer green. so stupid.

Transmission and cradle are nasty, the engine compartment is getting a major cleaning.

I ate a whole bag of hot pork skins when i pulled the motor, i regretted that the next day.

The HUD is very cool i think.

    Update:

I have an entire 3400 engine from an Equinox, those internals are going in this block, Im making a stroker LQ1 turbo.

BOOST!!! lol 3.4 dohc loves the boost...plus a decent N/A build will be just as costly.

well, i do have a big garrett super 60, and i work in a muffler shop so the plumbing would be simple, and i once turbo'd a 2.8L GP, so... but i can port everything myself and get the heads shaved, and a tune and make good power to. how much boost will these hold?

not sure on how much itll hold...the only reservation i would have is the transmission. the 4t60 will not be able to hold the power.

yea, im afraid its gonna break fairly quickly. i dunno where i might find a 5 speed swap either, i guess ill just have to replace the 4t60 often. the guy at work that rebuilds all the transmissions i pull out says that there really is no way to beef up the internals, just have to run it til it breaks.im gonna turn out as much hp as possible and see how long it lasts unless i can find a 5 speed, may flush the auto and use ome b&m trick shift

yea, but i dont wanna go obd2, and we get 4t65's in the shop all the time burned up in minivan's, i dont think its worth the aggravation to swap to another auto unless its a 4t80

with a 4t65 you can build it to handle quite the power...ive heard things about people doing a "shoehorn" with a 4t80 but that requires alot of fab and quite honestly, a built 4t65 will handle the same power.

too much aggravation to still have an auto. More than likely its gonna keep the 4t60 until it breaks, im gonna install a transcooler and service the transmission and replace the fluid with b&m. If it breaks i'll rebuild or replace it.
